I've been using live mail for many years, suddenly I was unable to send or receive mail using the program. I removed the program and downloaded it again and I was now able to receive mail but not send. The error is:

The connection to the server has failed.

Socket Error: 10060  When I log into the Xfinity site I can send and receive mail but I don't like their program so I really want to get Live Mail working again. I only have one email account and I've turned off my virus protection thinking something there was blocking the mail but that did not make any improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
