Hi,

I started a thread on 19th July because both my and my wife's live account were unavailable and the option to reset passwords was also unavailable.

The original thread is here - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/signin/unable-to-logon-to-any-ms-services-or-reset/16a0f592-8ab3-4805-9fc5-6a148a24ab7c?lc=2057&auth=1. It appears to have been closed - I can no longer reply to it.

A small bit of progress was made - my live account was apparently deleted (along with its data) and recreated. I now have a working (empty) live account. My wife's account still doesn't work at all.

Various replies were posted, saying the issue was being escalated. After waiting for almost a month, I gave up and phoned MS support, who charged me a fee and put me through to the Office support team. The office support team have now told me that there is nothing they can do because the fault lies with the live account team. Therefore I'm back here again.

Please can you re-open the previous thred?

I suspect that I have now lost my skydrive data, my links to various services that the live account uses and the windows phone apps (maybe £15 worth) that I bought. If we can fix my wife's account without losing her data, that would obviously be good. If it is going to take a long time, maybe we should just look at deleting and recreating her account too.

Since this has been going on for more than 2 months now, I would appreciate it if you could escalate this straight away.

Thanks,

John
