I have a PC running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1, 64-bit.  The PC has 8GB RAM, 1TB of hard drive space with approx. one-third free space available.

I've tried downloading and installing Movie Maker on several occasions using both "wlsetup-web" and "wlsetup-all" without any success.  During the download and installation process, it always hangs at "34% complete", even after leaving it for as long as 1 hour.  I end up hitting the "Cancel" button to end the installation.

Can someone provide some guidance as to why this is happening?  How can I fix this and get Movie Maker installed?  Alternatively, is there another software/application that is similar to Movie Maker that I can use to turn a collection of photos into a movie with music?

Thank you in advance for your courtesy and assistance.
