I  just purhased a new laptop with Windows 8.1, installed Windows Live Mail, and imported all the mail from my old machine. 

I have attempted to increase the read font size via File -> Options -> Mail -> Read -> Fonts and then selecting "Font Size = Largest" -> OK -> OK

Afterwards I confirm that the changed font size "took", close WLM, reopen.  The Read "Font Size" is still set to "Largest" , but the font size is still tiny, tiny, tiny.

My Windows updates are set to update all products and they are current.

Is there a solution for this?
