I accessed my Outlook.com account on my laptop in the last 36 hours to clear out some emails in hotmail mailbox.  Since then my iphone and ipad stopped receiving emails.  Cant send either.

When prompted to put in the password in ipad or iphone, it is rejected and a message advises "unable to verify account information"

What can I do please to get everything working again.
