unable to access one note in sky drive

I sent a link from my One Note to a friend and they are unable to access the One Note in their Sky Drive.  It says- "this item might not exist or is no longer available"....
When I look in my Skydrive account it is there and I have sent multiple requests. 
How do I get them into the One Note info?
