Since there doesn't seem to be any formal way to report bugs in Live Write, I'll just mention these two easily reproducible bugs here and hope someone passes them on on. This is Windows Live Writer 2012 Build 16.4.3522.110.

Bug 1: Adding a hyperlink causes lost of formatting.

Say you're citing a legal case, called Smith vs. Jones. The right way to format that is to italicize the parties, but not the "vs." In Windows Live Write, if you select that entire case name, hit Control-K, add a hyperlink and click OK, what results is hyperlinked text in which it is ALL italicized, Smith vs. Jones. It alters the formatting.

Bug 2: Undo fails for pasted text

With most every text editor on the planet, the Control-Z (Undo) removes the last thing you did, including a paste operation. With Windows Live Write, Undo is not operative on pasted text: It basically removes things you did prior to the Paste, but leaves the Pasted text in place.
