My first request for support got me a reset password link.
This kept giving me the 'temporary error' message.
I tried a couple of suggestion I read on this forum.
1. Try opening the link on another computer
2. Try opening the link in another web browser.

I tried both of these ideas and get the same message.

Then I kept trying to get support and ended up filling out a verify personal information form.
This got successfully verified after a day or so. So in theory my account was reset.
The message from microsoft that said I was now verified contained another reset password link.

But this link also gave me the 'temporary error' message.

I have searched for support options and this forum really is the only option I am currently aware of. I wish I could get some more significant support because, unfortunately my email is crucial for my life and what I am currently doing. I can't spend too many more days without my email functioning. It will have serious consequences for me.

Please let me know what support option there are in this hotmail email account universe.
