I haven't had this problem until now. No matter WHAT I do, the transitions are starting too early. I place the cursor in the right place, but then when I select the transition, it jumps back a couple of seconds. VERY FRUSTRATING.....the transitions are showing up before the next slide, this is crazy!!!

I've tried adjusting the first slide length to no avail, it keeps changing on its own...

I'm using the movie theme with pan and zoom, so the first slide is the intro where I have input the custom text, the rest of the photos are real estate pics and I need a transition between each one.

I've done this countless times in the past and not had any issues with the transitions timing..

I have NOT downloaded Win 10 and do not plan to. Using Windows Live Movie Maker 2011.

Please HELP - I have been working on this for over an hour and have to complete this project ASAP-----

Here is a screen shot of when I remove all transitions and place the cursor where I want to start the transition. Notice the Movie text is short. The next screen shot is when I click on the transition I want, the Movie text changes on its own to a longer length and now the transition start too early!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!!
