Hi I'm running win 8.1 and found that movie maker should be able to open media center recorded tv files without my having recourse to third party software. not here I can't. my pc has an Nvidia GTS 88000 card installed with all the latest updates, movie maker opens all the other files ok. I thought Microsoft would at least write a program that would open its own propriety files as suggested in the supported file types dialogue, help please, I've been through reinstall, compatability and all the other suggestions to no avail.
