I've also followed http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/mail-signin/i-cannot-sign-into-my-outlookcom-account-what-can/877ed125-b48b-43ae-b4f8-14e0afafb7f8 closely, but I still cannot sign-in to outlook.com.
Microsoft is appreciating the patience of all affected users (and there are numerous threads/users out there), so I would appreciate if someone here in the forums would take the time to read my posting closely. I've already asked the same question more than
6 months ago and there still is no resolution.
The problem: I cannot log in to outlook.com.
The facts:
- I am receiving the following error message: "This account can't be used to access Outlook.com | You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account). "
- I am not using any .edu account
- I have got 2 different LiveIDs that are affected: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
- I am an Office365 customer (and Office 365 support was not able to help me); they pointed me to the forums here
- I can login to other live services (i.e. account.live.com, Skydrive etc) using *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (so the problems seems to be outlook.com related only)
- Office 365 is working fine
- I already provided traces using the troubleshooting tool, but I can create them once again if they are needed
- I am also willing to set up a Lync meeting or something like that in order to help you gathering more information if needed
Please help me acccessing outlook.com again.
