8 hours ago I sought help from the Microsoft Technical staff about a Windows Live Mail problem. It seemed that I did not qualify for free advice(there's a surprise) and it would cost £90, which I paid.     Initially, one Technician looked at the problem but was eventually joined by another. Finally I was told that the "team" was working on the problem. By this time I had been sitting at my PC, answering questions, taking instruction etc. for 6 hours. I told the "Team Leader" that I had to leave my PC for a short time but when I returned the contact had been broken.

I telephoned again and after 18 minutes was informed that Microsoft did not support Windows Live Mail.

I asked for my money back but after a further 15 minutes received no answer from the refund department.

Mr Gates, before you give any more money to charity, could you send me my £90?

Oh why didn't I buy Apple?
