When sending messages using WLM sometimes the email addresses get scrambled.

As an example I've just sent an email which appears in my sent box as:

To: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

cc: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***; *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

bcc: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Where I'm example4 to provide me a copy of the email.

When this appears in my inbox it appears as:

To: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

cc: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***; examp ; *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

It also appears in example2's inbox the same. It seems to be chopping off some of the cc addresses and sending the bcc as cc (which defeats the object of bcc if everyone can see it). This has happening on and off over for a while now but I can't narrow down what causes it to happen some times and not others.

It also doesn't always happen exactly like that, sometimes the from and to address are scrambled as well. I did check one that the to address was scrambled on a while ago, and they did receive it but it showed scrambled in the same way on their client.

Has anyone come across something similar, or can suggest a probable cause and fix?

(Using XP by the way, if it helps)

Good morning everyone.

I have Windows 8 64 bit and I've been experiencing an issue with Windows Live Mail, which started a few days ago.

Whenever I open it, a message appears: "Windows Live Mail has stopped working", with the related loading bar looking for online solutions from Microsoft to the problem.
After a while, the loading bar disappears and in the same pop-up two options appear: "Debug" and "Close programs". The first one, if chosen, gives the following message:

---------------------------
wlmail.exe - Impossibile trovare un debugger.
---------------------------
Non è stato specificato alcun debugger JIT registrato.

Per mettere in attesa il processo mentre si attiva il debugger manualmente, scegliere Riprova.
Per annullare la richiesta di debug JIT, scegliere Annulla.
---------------------------
(italian, but it basically says that it was impossible to find a debugger and that no JIT debugger was registered, so if I wanted to put the process in waiting state while I manually activated the debugger, I should've choosen "Retry", else "Cancel").

If I click on "Retry", I can safely continue using the software, if I click on "Cancel" or on "Close programs" in the previous pop-up, Windows Live Mail just closes.

Fact is: the software seems to perfectly work and doesn't stop working when I click on "Debug"->"Retry". But it's annoying to do that every time.

I'm an user with "medium-high" base knowledge of computer software, so I know the basic steps in these cases: repair software, CLEAN uninstall and re-install completely, etc.
I've also deleted the registry keys related to Windows Live Mail before re-installing, and used Microsoft Fix it for uninstalling problems, to delete further windows live keys which I didn't need, for a perfect full re-install.
I've even tried to restore to a previous system restore point, but with no success (all the restore points which would've helped me were.. corrupt!)

This is what the Event Registry says about the error:

(sorry, italian too, but you get the idea)

A particular thing to note is that, whenever I experience this issue, the above-mentioned log is not the only one. There's also another log about a .NET Framework error, happening at the SAME EXACT time as the previous one:

.NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.7905 - Errore irreversibile del motore di esecuzione (58C101FE) (80131506)
which translates to
.NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.7905 -  Fatal execution engine error (58C101FE) (80131506)

Could it be that it's something related to .NET? How to manage to resolve this? Should I re-install .NET, and how?

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.

When opening my email, I get the following dialog box, "Finishing current message."  It gets stuck there -- never finishes receiving current message, and goes no further.  My email is stuck.  This happened once before and lasted for a week before it corrected itself.  I was able to sign in remotely to get my email, but not automatically by clicking the email icon in my task bar.

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.  Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity."

Server:    mail.twc.com

Windows Live Mail error ID:    0x800CCC0F

Starting two days ago, Windows Live Mail will not download my gmail.  From Sync, "Check for new messages" is completed, but "Download new messages" is executing and is hung up on "Downloading message 0".  The error ID is 0x800C006F
How can I install Windows Live Mail (which I had on my old laptop with Win Vista 32 bit) and transfer my Contacts to my new ASUS laptop with Win 8 (upgraded to 8.1) .  I also have a lot of folders of emails I saved on my old laptop.  Can I transfer them?
My email is thru my cable service, COX.
Thanks
Juliette
Hi,

I have just bought a new laptop (HP Pavilion if that helps) and I have Windows 8.1 installed on it.

I downloaded Windows Live Mail and it all seemed to work perfectly for about a week or so.  However, a few days ago the following problem started:-

Whenever I highlight multiple messages in my Inbox and try to move them to the "Junk" folder in Windows Live Mail I get these messages:-

Window 1 = "An unknown error has occurred" ... I then press "OK" and

Window 2 = "The selected message(s) could not be moved.  A problem has occurred.  Please try again." ... I then press "OK" and am taken back to my Inbox ... where I can then proceed to move them individually into the "Junk" folder ???

Any help, much appreciated.

When I am typing an email I sometimes hit the wrong key, or two keys at once and then the email I am typing disappears.  With Outlook Express I could click the UNDO icon and then my email message would return.  With Windows Live Mail 2012, I can't locate the UNDO icon.  Does anyone know how I can get my lost email back when I accidently lose it?  Brian

Hi everyone, I am continuously getting this time out error 0x800CCC19, on my default email account. Sometimes mail is received and sometimes it is not. I have no problems with getting mails on my phone and no problems with Hotmail account on WLM. My provider says everything on their side is ok. My antivirus provider says everything on their side is ok. My pc manufacturer says everything on their side is ok. Windows & Microsoft tell me to go online and sort it myself! Anyone got any advice or is there another mail software I could use other than Windows live mail? I am now fed up of WLM and would like to change. Thanks in advance!
