I can get email for one address but not the main one. I don't know about logon options. I can get my email on Yahoo but I prefer to use Windows Live Mail.
Also, all my contacts have been wiped out. I've tried all the passwords I have ever used.

When I send a message, the message goes to the 'Outbox' but then I get the above error message and the message just sits in the Outbox and will go no further. This has been happening for a couple of weeks but was working fine before then. No known changes in the program or system.
I use Windows 7 Premium.
Would appreciate any help possible.
If I don't upgrade live messenger as I don't want skype or facebook, will I still be able to use 'Windows live mail'

I am unable to sync my hotmail account using Windows Live Mail. My Hotmail account works just fine through the www.hotmail.com site, so I know the account is fine. This happens every once in a while and I usually just wait a day or so, and it comes back on line, but it's been two weeks this time around. Here's the error message I get:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (xxxxxxx) account.
Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003
My other email accounts on Windows Live Mail are unaffected.
Others obviously have the same issue and it appears that it requires some adjustment to my Hotmail account. Please let me know how to get this done.

I am having real problems with windows live mail on my laptop. It seems to be affecting my iphone and ipad also. I can recieve messages (emails) but when I go to forward, I get the "windows live mail stopped working msg" and restart. When I try to compose a new message, it shows the same msg but with a debug option. I have removed windows essentials and reinstalled twice to no avail. My Ipad and Iphone are also having issues? On the email topic below, it should say only sending mail. I receive mail OK.

UPDATE!
For some reason, the error msgs went away, and I can now compose and forward emails in windows live? Only problem is that even though the emails are in the sent folder, the receiver doesn't get them?? What a mess! Any ideas from anyone??
I have checked the "auto-correct spelling and capitalization" box in the options menu, but in practice the program only capitalizes the personal pronoun "I," when typed in the lower case, and it does recognize misspelled words by showing the squiggly underscore.
It does not, however, auto-correct capitalization errors such as the beginning word of a sentence, which puzzles me. I am hoping someone might tell me why. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks for any help.
