Original title: windows live mail Cannot open properties window
I cannot send e-mail and all the fixes I have found ask me to click on accounts and then click on properties. OK except properties will not open.
Windows live mail always used to automatically connect to the internet when I opened it; now I've done something and it is always offline. Even when I click "Go online", I keep getting a box saying "You are working offline, do you want to go online now?"
and I click yes (twice), it won't connect and send or receive messages. I just want to always be online.
Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (cashborn) account.

Original title: i AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM with Live Mail seems to be sicne the latest update.
When I click "Send/Receive", a warning comes up "Unable to send or receive messages for the "......." account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messges, you'll be asked to enter your user name ad password for this
account. Server error: 0x800CCC90; Server Response: -ERR (AUTH) Authentication failed; Window Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
My Wndows Live Mail will not open.
The message :- Windows Live Mail cannot be started.
The application was unable to open Windows Live Mail message store.
Your Windows Live Mailbox data is currently is currently being used by another program, such as a virus scanner.
Close the program or wait for it to complete it's operation, then open Windows Live Mail again.
The error notice is 0x800C0155.5
Does anybody know how to fix this problem.
I have done uninstall/reinstall. Closed all checking programs. Spybot, AVG to no avail.
I am trying to transfer emails in personal Storage Folder from Windows Live Mail on my Windows7 laptop to my new Windows laptop.
Firstly, exporting all folders is only attempting to export the specific folder and not sub folders beneath e.g. i have a Finance folder that has a sub folder called Banks but selecting the Finance folder does not pick up the Banks folder or anything in it
So I tried picking each folder individually (very long-winded), exporting this and then imported into my Windows 8 machine. On viewing the folders after import, only one email in each folder had been imported.
Currently, this seems fairly hopeless as I have years of emails to transfer.
Is there a tool that will work?
Please help anyone!

I have Windows7 and I use Windows Live Mail at home and when I am trying to type to reply to an email program freezes and not responding to keyboard or there is a delay in typing. Any idea how I can fix this issue on my own before I call the professional person.

my Hotmail inbox (via Windows live mail) looks exactly the same as before; no changes on my home computer; on my Apply laptop however is has been updated. why is that ?
BOTH COMPUTERS , WINDOWS LIVE MAIL STOPPED SENDING PICTURES AND CALLED THEM SPAM ,LEAVING THEM IN THE OUT BOX ON 4/8/13.. CAN STILL SEND TEXT
