Fix for Live Mail in High Contrast?

I'm legally blind.  Running Win7 in High Contrast #1 theme helps make things more easily readable. 

 

When I use Windows Live Mail in this theme the tool bars, subject lines, mail text are white text on black, but the surrounding windows are some faint text color on white background, which is much harder to read.

 

 

Can I fix this somehow?

It would be really nice if Win7 allowed me to set colors for all GUI components when using Aero.   Older versions of Windows allowed for this.  Is Win8 any better at allowing the user to control colors?  I bought the upgrade but have such a hard time seeing I'm afraid the transition will be too difficult.

Help! When ever I try and sync my hotmail account to the Windows Live Mail program on my computer, I get an error message. I am copy and paste the error message below:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (lamb1319) account. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the list of services.

It was working fine one day and then the next day, it would not sync. I know that it must be the program because I can receive the emails on my phone and I can also go to the website and retrieve them. Anyone know how to fix it?

Using Windows Live Mail with Windows 8 and has been working ok.  Suddenly it downloads new mail messages - but won't display the email text even for old emails.

Recently, I find I can no longer print an email. Using Windows Live Mail 2012 on a PC running Win 7 Pro. No problem printing from any other application. Why can I no longer print an email?

Was the Windows Live Mail error 0x80041161 caused update I received yesterday?  The update and the problem seem to have happened about the same time.  I've tried deleting the account and starting over, but that isn't fixing the issue.

Windows Live Mail and OE6 have wrong day and time on emails

I have an issue with WLM and the emails it imported from OE6. I have an employee that said her emails were showing the wrong date, it was showing the current date not the actual day she had received it using OE6. I get her another computer to swap with and I moved the whole identities folder so she would have all her old emails on the new machine, a couple of days later she comes telling me its doing it again and also from the day I made the computer swap some emails are missing. I have checked the time zone settings those are correct, I have checked the webmail settings (we use rackspace) the settings are correct there also. I am just at a loss for what is going on and how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
