I recently had to do an urgent system restore, but lost my windows live mail app. I have reloaded the app but have no emails in my accounts. Can anyone tell me how can I retrieve all of my a old email messages. Thanks

In Windows Live Mail 2012 (desktop application), if you reply to a message which has a subject starting with "Re:" and containing 2 or more colons, WLM deletes a word from the subject.
For example, if I received an email with the subject "Re: Tip: Test", when replying to this message, Windows Live Mail modifies the subject automatically to "Re: Test".
Clearly this messes up grouping messages by subject and has been causing lots of trouble to us trying to locate previous replies to certain messages.
Has this bug been reported before? Is there an official channel to report it to and get it fixed?

After reformating my hard drive I lost a folder that used to be in WLM called, in French, "Dossier sur l'ordinateur" which may be in English "Folder in my computer" I had several sub folders in that folder which kept my e-mails. How can I find this folder
again or how can I create it again?

My outlook.com is painfully slow. I also have a windows live mail account which is fast but when I try to synch/forward emails to this it keeps saying password is invalid even though I have reset it. Is windows live mail no longer active? I live in hope as outlook.com and windows live mail tech support passed me from pillar to post and ev entually referred me here! thanks in advance
A few days ago I updated to Windows 8 Pro 64 bit and 8.1 from Windows Ultimate 64 bit. Windows Live Mail (where I have many important emails in folders,) will try to open - it does display an opened folder, but then hangs. The blue "wait," circle remains

HOW SHOULD I PROCEED IF I BELIEVE I SHOULD ELIMINATE 2 OF THE 3 THAT ARE DUPLICATES? IS IT NECESSARY TO COMPLETLY REMOVE WINDOWS ESSENTIALS AND THEN REINSTALL THE ENTIRE SETUP? VERY FRUSTRATING AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW OR WHERE THE EXTRAS CAME FROM.
