In previous email readers (and in third-party readers like Thunderbird) you can configure the leftmost panel of the main screen to show folders at the top and a scrollable list of contacts in the bottom half.  All I seem to be able to do on Windows Live Mail is have a Contacts button that then brings up a completely different panel with the contacts.  I can't keep this panel up as it consumes too much screen real estate.  Is there any way to reconfigure so that contacts are always displayed in the bottom half of the Folders panel, like in other readers?

I am having problems setting up my roadrunner email account POP3.  I have set it up in windows live mail and it was working fine until I changed the email password in RR and since it's been giving me an error after asking for the password...error message is 800CCC90 for receiving & 800CCC92 for sending.  Have called RR and everything is working on their end and have tried all day to talk with someone at Microsoft and they told me I had to go to this website to get help,  Very Frustrated and saw a similar post with this error for another Pop3.  PLEASE HELP.

I am entering the server information as pop-server.carolina.rr.com and smtp-server.Carolina.rr.com.

Without warning we lost all of our contacts and Hotmail service in Windows Live Mail (2011 version).  I imported an old contact list and our Pop3 emails have always been available, but when I added our Hotmail account to Live Mail we get a notice saying that Microsoft is syncing the account and to check back later to read messages, but it never goes beyond that and we can not receive any Hotmail emails.

After loading Windows Essentials, Windows Live Mail will not launch.  It get stuck on the "Windows Live Mail 2012 - Starting" screen.  However if I go to Windows Live Mail in the "Start" menu, and select New Email, the window for the email creation opens properly.  This applies to all specific Live Mail functions as well as all other Essentials applications.  Any suggestions?
