Question about Outlook Express

Hi,

I have created a windows live mail id ***Removed PII*** long before.
It is not used for long time. I have sent one mail to my gmail for future reference.
Now i cant sign in. i have tried widows can't access feature.
Still i could not get my id back. is it assigned to some one else ?
Because when i tried for resetting password, it is showing some phone number and when use send reset link to my gmail id, i didnt recieve any reset link to my gmail account.
Is it possible to recover my id ?
