I have two Road Runner email accounts setup in Windows Live Email.  When I click on Send/Receive, one of them always works properly but the other frequently gets stuck at Authorizing then times out with the message:

 

Unable to send or receive messages for the XXXXX account. A time-out occurred while communicating with the server.

Sometimes I get this message:

I did Internet searches for both Error IDs but could not find anything that would work.

 

I checked the settings for both accounts and they are the same.  I can access the account in question using RoadRunners webmail page.

I keep getting error code 0x80048849 everytime i try to send an email.  I have not changed anything on the computer and my emails sent no problem yesterday

All worked well this morning but suddenly, no synchronisation possible.

 

My Spec's :

Info :

Hotmail.com is slow and redirected to https://dub125.mail.live.com 

right pane doesn't appear

 

 

Kindly request a solution without the repeated reconfigure, reinstall or clear uninstall and reinstall asked tasks.

Hi, today is November 14/13 and for the last two days, my @Hotmail.com and @live.ca emails have not populated into my windows live mail account I keep on getting this error.. but my gmail and yahoo accounts linked into the live mail, send and receive. its just Hotmail.

and the same message for the other two live accounts.

 

I have also tried to load Hotmail in IE and chrome and the page stays white and blank, on several computers in my house.

 

So heres the odd thing.... I am still getting those email accounts (send and receiving) to my phone though??!!???

 

Ive rebooted my computer several times, just performed a whack load of Microsoft updates... nothing was changed before to make this happen.. and a web search for help has been kinda useless.

 

The more I try and search, the more I find certain Microsoft webpages wont load, anything with live logins, certain troubleshooting Microsoft pages. but everything else seems to load??!?!?!?

I cannot send emails, receiving is OK except for one problem - one message now always appears :-

This message was on my inbox, but I deleted it days ago.

 

On sending, I get no message,  but the email sticks in the outbox.  On doing a send/receive I get a task screen with  :

 

Send 7 message(s) .............  Failed

 

The count goes up when I attempt to send.

 

I am having to use the onetel mailzone website to send mail (my alternative access to my email). 

 

I don't know if this is due to a Microsoft update as in the original post,  but I do recall a glitch affecting Live mail.  I have installed a later version of Live Mail to no effect.

 

Any clues please?

Just suddenly I can't sign into my email account. I use Windows Live Mail by default and it's always signed me in automatically but now it's asking for User Name and Password. When I enter those nothing happens, only the login window will go away for a second then return. I also get this error message -

'Unable to send or receive messages for the Virgin (darrenj.campbell) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.
