I get the following message:
An unknown error has occurred. 
Subject 'Update on Kate :)'

Error ID: 0x800CCC0B 
Protocol: SMTP 
Port: 465 
Secure(SSL): Yes

What do I do?

What is causing this error message?

I cannot send or receive mail from the Hotmail account.  The error I get is:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account.

Why does this happen?

 Deleted account and added new account. No emails in outbox. Reset password still cant send or receive email!

Help!!! i need this fixed and i cant find anything on this particular error id
everytime i open up windows live mail, it comes up with this error and i cant email anything or receive anything

Getting constant drop outs when I send / receive.  and I have to try to send receive about 4 times before I get all of my email.

   Also have issues when changing web pages.  Have to reload web pages all of the time.   I removed windows update KB2750841 as advised by other guru.
