Question about Outlook Express

Hello,
my Windows Live Mail email client is not displaying things properly. The left side menu (inbox, drafts, sent items etc.) is barely able to be seen. Also other things are not displaying - like when i try to compose an email, the address bar remains blank. Also when trying to sing in with windows live id, the popup is blank. However, it reacts when i click on it - as you can see in the picture - i moved the mouse on the "forgot password" link and it popped out the text "reset your password". It seems like it is working , just not displaying things. I have this same IMAP account set on my android device and it works fine, so its clearly problem with WLM.
