I’m using Cakewalk Sonar X1 (a Digital Audio Workstation). I have a 3 track composition consisting of the song’s melody, another instrument and a drum groove.
On the staff view I have inserted the song’s lyrics.
When I play the song with the staff view of the melody in sight the play bar follows the lyrics words much like a karaoke effect or the old bouncing ball display.
I wanted to produce a video of the staff view with the song playing.
I have used the free Microsoft Expression program to Capture the staff view as I play the recording. I can then convert the screenshot to a video.
The problem I have is that I cannot work out how to Capture the sound so my video is silent.
Does anyone know how the Microsoft Expression Encoder Screen Capture will allow me to capture the sound as well as the image?
