Need to un-block my Live account

11. June 2014 · Write a comment · Categories: Uncategorized · Tags: secondary account, security purposes

I have a secondary account (Removed for security purposes) which is linked to my main Hotmail account and is the one I created my Live account on. The problem is in order to access my Xbox I'm now asked about a phone number I used a long time ago, a number that used to belong to my dad and I just can't remember what number that was.

I need my account to be unblocked so I can play again. I don't want to set up a new one because I need the data entered into that account. I've sent an e-mail to the Brazilian Microsoft support seeing as I'm from Brazil, but they won't even read my messages. My Xbox IP is (Removed for security purposes).

I'd appreciate the help.

Sent messages are not saved when using secondary account.

We are using a shared email account added in Outlook 2011 for Mac.  It's not the default account but we send from it often.

Messages sent from the default account are saved okay but not the secondary account.

Whenever sending from this secondary mailbox, there seems to be no record of the sent item anywhere.

I verified the message is sent and received.

We are using Outlook 2011 with Exchange 2010.

Microsoft account emails still linked; billing information from my main account CC’d to secondary account

A few years ago, I unlinked my two Microsoft accounts. The one I'm currently using to write this question is my primary account, while a secondary account was unlinked from it. Since then, Microsoft has obviously stopped offering linked accounts, but I'm still receiving personal information sent to my secondary account (it's CC'd on all my billing emails for Windows Phone and Windows Store app purchases, for instance, as well as Xbox Live renewals).

I have tried everything I can to unlink the accounts completely, but nothing has solved the issue. My emails are not forwarded, and there are no options in Outlook.com's settings or Microsoft Account management settings that will let me resolve the issue. I have called Microsoft and done live chatting, but every time I'm told it's not possible for the person on the other end of the conversation to resolve the issue.

I want my accounts unlinked completely. This is essentially my last option, and I was referred here by the live-chat support individual.

Can’t access outlook

I had to use a secondary account to post this, but I can't get into my main one :/

‘It looks like someone else is trying to use your account’ – cannot receive validation at alternative email/secure e-form times out!!!

I am locked out of my live.com account due to a suspicious usage error.

I have tried sending validation emails to my secondary account but they are not materializing at that account (checked junk etc, etc.)

I cannot provide enough evidence to recover the account via the form as I do not use it to send emails that often.

I also tried to submit a help request using the secure e-form - three attempts have resulted in the page stalling and not appearing to have submitted anything each time.

This is doubly annoying as I cannot access my email, or update anything on my linked windows phone.

I would really appreciate human assistance in this case as the automated system has failed me.

Thank you,

Alex Bell

Problem with Hotmail accounts

I have recently experienced an inconvenience. I will try to explain my problem as best as I can, please help me in solving this.

I have a hotmail account that I have been using for almost everything for the last few years. I log on to this account once a month at least, from several different computers. Yesterday I logged on using my home computer to receive the error message "looks like some one else might be using your account". I am then given the option to verify my account with my recovery email address. My recovery email address is a yahoo one that I made 6 years ago, and have never accessed. It was therefore deleted for inactivity. Now the only other option is to verify via a questionare. I am only able to enter the basic information, e.g name, date of birth, country. But because I never email or receive emails with this account, I cannot enter anything into the email subjects or contacts field, I also do not own an Xbox 360, so I cannot enter any information regarding that as well. This then prevents me from completing the survey, and being unable to retrieve my account.
Furthermore, I also have a secondary account, which is just my normal *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but with a 2 at the end, so it looks like this, *** Email address is removed for privacy *** . I tried to log on to that account, but when I did, it made that account an alias of the main account, and now I am unable to access the secondary account as well. This wouldn't really be a problem losing these two accounts for me, except that my secondary account is used for my games for windows live account. So I am therefore unable to play any PC games that uses games for windows live. The main game being Grand Theft Auto 4. Since my GTA 4 account uses my secondary hotmail account as the email address for my games for windows live account, I am unable to play GTA 4 with my current save data.

If anyone can offer me a possible solution for this dilemma then it would really be appreciated.

Deleted account’s shared calendar is still showing in my primary account

19. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Microsoft account, secondary account
I used to have a secondary Microsoft account that I created for the sole purpose of sharing a calendar with others.

The calendar was shared with my primary Microsoft account, which is a co-Owner of the calendar.

The secondary account fell into disuse and was apparently deleted after a period of inactivity, which is fine, it was no longer needed.

The problem I have is that the secondary account's shared calendar still shows up in my primary account and pops up in my Outlook, in the web based calendar and on my phone.

I wanted to get rid of it and when I tried to log on using the secondary account to unshare the calendar and close the account, I found out that the account had already been deleted.

Now I do not know how to unshare or otherwise get rid of this calendar, I do not want it to show up in my primary account anymore.

I would appreciate any help with this.

Matt

Unable to access linked account

10. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: secondary account
Before outlook.com was available for public use i had two hotmail accounts.

I had a primary account and then a secondary account linked. Which meant i only needed to login to the primary to view the secondary's mail. However since moving to outlook.com i've lost the ability to view the secondary account and also cannot login to the account.

The automated account retrieval system doesn't recognise my details as its been so long since i used the account.

How can i recover the account?, is there a phone number i can call?.

I'm based in the UK.

Thanks in advance.

Hotmail – Verfication Problem

04. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: secondary account, verification stage
Hi,

I have two email address.

One that is my primary and the other is secondary.

I am having problems logging in with my secondary account. I know my password but cannot get past the verification stage.

I have changed my number and the option to verify relates to my old number.

Therefore I want to know how can i recover use of my secondary email?

I have already tried filling in the form when prompted but it states that I require more information.

As mentioned this is a secondary email that I rarely use. I haven't sent an email in years but have received tons. My inbox should be in the 1000s.

Please advise.

Many thanks.

when opening live mail a second live mail account signon loads automatically

02. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: secondary account, signon screen

When opening a session of live mail the signon screen for a secondary account loads automatically.  The secondary account is not used on this computer however it was once used on this computer.

I would like to know how to stop the signon screen for the secondary account from loading since the secondary account is no longer used on this computer.

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to remove the secondary account prompt.

Thanks

Joe
