How do I change my age with hotmail so I am not ‘under’ a ‘responsible adult? I am 68 yrs old.

As I did my usual sign in yesterday up popped a message about my profile, and did I want to change it.  I noticed my complete birthdate was in the profile, so I took out the day and month, and tried to take out the year, but it kept coming back.  So out of frustration I clicked on 2013 as my year of birth.

As soon as I signed out I got a msg that I needed a responsible adult to vouch for me.  That responsible adult had to make a 50 cent purchase with a credit card to prove that they were a responsible adult.  So my wife made the purchase, and now I can get back in to my account WITH child filters in place, and reports going to my wife of 41 years of where I have been.

How do I undo this?
