Cannot Send E-Mails – “We’ve noticed some unusual activity in your Outlook account”

Last night, I got the message: "We've noticed some unusual activity in your Outlook account. To help protect you and everyone else, we've temporarily blocked your account"

I have reset my password and sent confirmation codes to my phone. I have done these steps numerous times, but am still unable to send E-mails, however, as the same error message keeps coming up. As someone who relies on E-mail, this is causing a huge amount of invonvenience.

I have yet to receive an E-mail reply from the helpdesk, and I have posted on the support forum as they advised me to - https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?tp=il&tenant=WOL&sd=winlive&incno=1213235509&wa=wsignin1.0&st=1&wfxredirect=1 - but have also yet to get a reply.

 

Can anyone help?

As the subject says, my hotmail account has been "temporarily blocked" for some reason. I have followed all the advice I have come across; verifying my account with my phone number, resetting my password, clicking forgot password and going through customer service to fill out the form asking me for details about my account, AND have even contacted customer support but nothing seems to be working. 

I have access to my account, so I can read and, well it looks like it, receive email, but when I attempt to send email it presents me with the error message. 

Can anyone help. Really need my hotmail to work as it should as I use it for work and other important stuff!

Skydrive is downloading File (from skydrive web to skydrive desktop) any further

Have 18GB Data in my SkyDrive on my account, I installed new windows 8 and associated it with my outlook account, then I installed SkyDrive on my desktop, it downloaded the 10GB data, but now further SkyDrive icon on taskbar showing is working, but nothing is happening, since two week it didn't download a single bit of data.

 

However my internet account is working correctly, I can download/upload file, even from MS Office 2013 I can download/open/create files from SkyDrive, and I also can upload file from browser to skydrive.com. Means everything else besides skydive desktop application working fine. I don't have SkyDrive metro, I uninstalled it earlier.

 

I also reinstalled the SkyDrive desktop, but nothing happens, except it download one single file more. Then again it like same before, nothing is downloading actually.

 

Could you please tell me what I did wrong?

Cannot CLOSE Hotmail Account

Receiving this message:  Deactivate your Outlook account
To close your Outlook account, you must first cancel your billing service. Go to Microsoft Account and Billing Services at https://billing.microsoft.com.

However there are no billing outstanding subscriptions or services associated with this account and I CANNOT delete/close/deactivate and I haven't used this account in at least 6 years and it was just recently HACKED. I deleted all the folders and emails I just want the account closed and every link I click on takes me to something that is not USEFUL! I think it's easier to cancel my bank account vs an email account!

What can I do to get this email account cancelled and gone forever?!?!

so, when are you giving me my hotmail back?

Outlook is still an ugly hunk of junk.  I still end my email with 'hotmail'.  I still tell people I have a hotmail account, because I am so embarrassed that I have an outlook account. I do not want skype.  I do not want facebook or twitter.  I don't have any skype facebook or twitter accounts, and so therefore do not want it integrated into my email.  I also do not want to see people's facebook and twitter pictures.  Give me and my friends our privacy back.

Calender app not syncing with latest list of Friend’s birthdays

My Outlook account is connected with my Facebook account.


The Calender was automatically synced with my Facebook friends birthdays.

When I unfriend someone, it is not reflected in the Calender (that is, his birthday remains) but when I friend someone, the new birthdays are immediately shown.

Outlook Account, Help with the Security Code

  When I sign in to my outlook account it asks for a security code.  A code is then sent to an alternate outlook account of mine however when I type in the code it says it is incorrect and then it says I have 4 days (yesterday 5 days left etc.) left until a code is needed to sign in and then I received another email to the alternate account with another different code.  This has happened a couple of times with different codes and I don't understand what I am supposed to do?
