My Outlook Account is not being synced to my Lumia 920

Hi,
All of a sudden my outlook mails have stopped syncing to my Lumia 920 device. I don't know what's the matter cos when I created a duplicate account for the same email id, that is syncing properly.

I read a few discussions here where you guys(Microsoft) did something at the back end to resolve this issue. So please help me out by doing the same.

P.s- I can't hard reset my phone, too much important data on it and from what I read it hasn't really helped.


Cannot close my account due to an error message

Hello, I need to close permanently my Outlook account, but I always get the same message: " Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes. ".
I tried to close several times but the same message appears.

Delete my outlook account?

I would like to delete my outlook account.

f possible after deleting account
I would like to keep the e-mail address that is assigned and added to the second account as an alias.
By mistake I opened this account,and took this mail address.

My hotmail emails have not been forwarded to my mobile devcie since Thursday August 23rd at 3:36 PM?

Since Thursday August 23rd at 3:36 none of my emails to my Outlook account- a Hotmail.com address- have been forwarded to my mobile device- a Nokia E5-00. All other accounts my gmail account and my texts etc., are working fine but I have received over 30 emails - viewable via computer since then but they have not been accessible via my mobile. I have shut down and restarted my mobile device. I have also taken out the battery and SIM card and reinstalled after 1 or 2 minutes and restarted my mobile but it hasn't helped. I have disconnected my Hotmail account and reconnected it and it always shows as Hotmail connected. I have also tried accessing by hitting Send and Receive now and it always  shows Hotmail Updating but no new messages have come through?? Can someone help me with this.

Adding email account to Windows 8 Phone with domain hosted through Outlook.com doesn’t work!

I have two emails; one is "me"@outlook.com which is my personal account and my Microsoft Account login. This was easy to add to Windows phone and syncs without issues. My other account is "me2"@"mydomain".com. "Mydomain" is hosted through Outlook.com.

With my Windows 8 phone, I have tried adding as a Microsoft account, an Outlook account, a Hotmail account, and just "other account" by entering a number of different server names, etc.

Nothing works. I have an old domain hosted through Gmail which was easy to add and doesn't have any issues.

 

...And before someone tells me I should post in the Windows Phone forum....Already did, they said to post here. Also, my site is hosted through GoDaddy; I have other sites hosted through GoDaddy with email hosted through Gmail and I have no problems!

Why is some junk mail appearing in my inbox when my Outlook account is set to Exclusive?

My Outlook has been set to Exclusive for many months.  Just this week, I have been receiving junk mail in my regular inbox.  The e-mail messages are NOT from senders in my contacts list.  I am having to individually select each of those messages and move them to my junk folder.  From the junk folder, I am having to individually select them again and then click on "Sweep" in the menu bar and then select "Block from" on the drop down menu.  This process is very time consuming.  It would be much simpler if the Exclusive setting actually worked as designed (and, as I might say had been working properly for many months).  What is going on?  Why, all of a sudden, is some junk mail now coming to my regular inbox rather than to the junk folder where it is supposed to be going?

Hotmail Emails Missing

To Whom It May Concern (or anyone who will help):

I am an irregular, but long-time Hotmail user. When I attempted to log in to my Hotmail account today, I discovered that my account was changed to an Outlook account and all of my Hotmail emails are gone. They are not to be found under "Archive" or "Recover Deleted Messages".


I have used Hotmail as a secondary email account for some time now and never had this problem. Furthermore, I have used my Hotmail accounts for correspondence since 1999 and have some very important communication in my email archive. Who do I contact to recover my old emails?


I see that this question was asked before. Those discussions are locked. I need a personalized answer to my concerns, not some automated form letter.

Junk mail now appears in my inbox… HELP!

I have had my Hotmail (now Outlook account for over 15 years.  I have always been impressed with how junk is filtered into the Junk folder.

However, over the past few days I have started getting obvious junk mail directly into my inbox (not the Junk folder).

My junk settings are set to Exclusive, so I should only receive messages from either my contacts or addresses on my safe list into my inbox.

Today for example, I received a message Subject: Are you suitable for laser eye surgery?‏ from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of Optical.Express (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***).  When I click into message details, it says "This sender is in your contact list".  I have checked my contact list (and my safe senders) and this contact is definitely not in my contacts.

How/why is Outlook now allowing these items into my inbox, is the 'exclusive' junk filter broken, and how to I fix it?

Any help much appreciated.
