Will just having an outlook email get me all the features that comes with having a windows 8 phone-apps, games, etc?. I see both microsoft and outlook options under settings on my phone. I just had to reset my phone b/c of a prior mistake and I don't want to repeat any mistake going forward.
When friend sends me an email at my Outlook account, it shows up on my GMail account - not my OutLook account. WTF. I was hoping it would appear on both - my OutLook account especially! This seems to happen randomly, sometimes I receive OutLook emails

I have been using the outlook application to my galaxy s3 for a year now with no problems . But for the last two weeks now I cant connect to my account if I use 3G internen.It only sync and connect to internet when I am on a WI-FI. I push to sync and
it doesnt respond and appears the message " Last connected at ..." I removed my account and added it again but nothing. I even uninstalled the app but still nothing. Could anyone help me to sort this out??

Just to mention that is only my outlook account that doesnt connect when using 3G internet.My GMAIL account accepts emails and sync with no problem.And also I have access to internet.It's only the Outlook app that doesnt cpnnect
Hi, I have just tried send an e-mail to a regular correspondent and I received a delivery failiure notification. I then tried it from my G-Mail account and the same thing happened. It also started to happen in my Mother's outlook account to a different
address.

My company offered Office Pro Plus 2013 at a huge discount, so I bought the offer, found out I couldn't install it on Vista, and upgraded to Windows 8. Now my account on Windows 8 runs through my Outlook address, as do my Office programs. For example,
Word saves to my Outlook account's Skydrive.
The hitch is I want to use Skydrive Pro, and as far as Microsoft is concerned, my Office purchase is linked to my work email address. I tried to add my Outlook address as an alias, and was told that already existed.
Any suggestions? I just want everything on the same account so it can sync (and so I can work).

I recently opened an outlook email account when I loaded Office 2013 onto my computer. Through various circumstances, I had a mix-up with the passwords and had to create another one, then it was not recognised and I had to create a new password again.
I tried to use my original password and it was not accepted. Microsoft requires me to create a brand new password whenever I change passwords in my outlook account, even though I may not have used it for the account for months or even years. I think that Microsoft
is going too far with its security. With all the passwords that I personally have to manage, I am trying to make sure that many accounts use the same password. Otherwise I can never remember them all. Please Microsoft, be more flexible with your password rules.

I'm suspecting that my outlook account has been used by someone else and compromised. I need to know if my personal info is safe or not. That's why I need IP record history.

See title. When I try to find out how to disable the spell-check I am told to go into 'my outlook account'. Finding that, without my permission, 'Outlook' has indeed been put in my list of programs, I tried opening it and am variously told that my 'Trial version' has expired and I must buy a proper one, or asked to 'create' an e-mail account. (I already have a Hotmail one and want no other.) Thus there is no 'outlook account' to go into.
All I want to do is stop this officious automatic alteration of my spelling in e-mails. Please someone tell me how.
I don't know what happened to my Outlook account, but these days I'm getting lot of junk mails & sometimes I wonder how can this person write me an email even when I was not logged on to my Outlook account or not searching after logging in. I'm concerned
