We recently moved our organization to Office 365 hosted Exchange. Since then we have been having issues with Mac Outlook 2011 clients not being able to update their Offline Address Book.
This has been well documented in several threads that all end up marked as "solved" when in fact there has been no solution provided by Microsoft that I can find.
Does anyone know a way to actually resolve this issue? We are well past update 14.3.2 which supposedly fixes this issue, but multiple users are still unable to get an updated OAB. The only way to get an updated OAB is to force a full download by deleting the
following directory: ~/Library/Caches/Outlook/Main Identity
Thank you,
TMI
In Outlook 2011, from where does data in the "Organization" tab come?
It comes from Exchange. But, it seems to come ~directly~ from Exchange, as in over the network. It does not appear to use the locally cached "Offline Address Book."
Should the Organization tab be expected to use OAB data, or is it expected to consult a server via the network?
