In my movie maker project I have title screens first, then video clips, then more title screens at the end.  I added music to the beginning, fading it out for the video clips.  Then I added music again at the end of the project, and this automatically lowers the volume of all the video clips.  I have the slide volume almost all the way to the "video" side and it doesn't affect it at all.  I lowered the audio on the music clip only and still no result.  As soon as I remove the music clip from the end of the project the video volume does go back to the original level. But I would really like to have the music at the beginning and the end without it reducing my video clip volume!

Also, when I publish the movie to a CD, the entire audio output is a single channel output, so when I played it over a larger system sound only came out of the front speakers and nothing out of the back speakers.

Any suggestions?

Im trying to put some music to a clip Im making.

The music is my own. When I go to add the music it says that the file type is not supported by the windows movie maker.

I have tried to save it using mp3 and WAV file but it makes no difference. I even tried opening he music with Microsoft media but have had no luck does anyone know anything else I can try. Its weird because the music cd lay no problem on cd players even dvd players and the cd player in the computer, it can be and is saved in iTunes as well but nothing seems to be able to let me attach it to my music clip   (stumped) cheers everyone,
