I have made a movie/project on movie maker. Basically there are three parts. the 2nd and 3rd parts of my project are done. I need to add the first part of my project at the beginning of the 2nd one, but every time I try to add more clips/audio at the beginning it messes up the rest of the audio and pictures for everything else after it. How do I add audio/video to the beginning of the project? Without messing up the rest.

i installed the movie maker and tried to launch it but it says make sure your computer fulfills all the requirements. i have updated everything and i have all the programs or the requirements for WMM, but it is just not working..
i have dell inspiron N5110 and WMM was already installed in the laptop but the drive went corrupt and i had to re install it .since then it is not working please help.its a little bit urgent...

It is a wlmp file, and I cannot open it for some reason. Everytime I try, it says file may be corrupt or unsupported. I have tried it on another persons computer as well. If it is possible I would really really appreciate someone to help me with this file. If it is unable to be fixed please let me know so I can start redoing the project.

So with movie maker i do nothing special besides crop a few videos and while doing so ill either go one of two things
first problem is that when i open movie maker and play a video my speakers wil start blasting a loud buzzing noise making me restart my computer and nothing else does that.
second problem i have is that when its not buzz i try to crop out a few parts and it starts to delete everything there and wont allow me to edit normally.
please help!
I have a new PC with VLC Video Lan version 2.1.3 and windows movie maker,both preinstalled on windows8.1 and I'm trying to teach myself to use it.
So far I've been successful.But,some of the tools on movie maker aren't functional! This is not good. Fade in, Fade out, and speed adjustment, windows are out, and can't be used.
How do I get them activated?
There could be more functions I'm missing because my exploring progress is in limbo.
And, the VLC program is useless. It won't play any music or video's. It doesn't do anything!
I had a hard time making windows media player the default player when I started using my new pc to hear music the first day.
Imagine someone not knowing how to use a program that is unfunctional in the first place made the default media player,while they're learning how to use a newer operating system they never tried before?
I've tried updating it and there are no updates for it.What were they thinking when they installed in on someone's new computer at the factory?
And I might add help topics weren't available for movie maker and some still are not available.
I found zero help topics on buttons that are faded out,in the software's help area.
I open a project in movie maker and all sounds stop working. I checked the sound mixer and saw that Movie Maker and Google Chrome were making noise, but it didn't show output on my speakers.
The speakers are in my laptop, which is an HP Notebook 2000 running Windows 8.1.
Sound only returns when I restart my computer
I've updated the driver software, made sure nothing was muted, turned up the volume all the way and still nothing.
I saw another thread on this, but it was old and wouldn't let me reply, as well as none of the solutions there worked either.
EDIT: I've found that sound returns about 8-10 minutes after Movie Maker closes
Hello,
I've been uploading a movie in MKV format with subtitles (I have downloaded the correct codec so MKV is read perfectly by movie maker) but when playing it the subtitles have disappeared.
When I edit the video (split sections to delete them) and save again then:
- The subtitles are still not here
- Using the same spec of the original video, the quality has drastically decreased (although same width, height, bit rate, frame rate, audio and same MB weight)
Could you please tell me how I can solve these problems?
I've upgraded to Windows 7 partly so I could do some editing on videos.
