For some reason I can´t sign in to my Hotmail account (Outlook.com). Microsoft wants me to add some new security info and verification to my account, and I´ve tried ALL the suggested ways of doing this, several times, but none of them works. I´ve had my
Hotmail account for 15 years and I´ve never experienced anything like this before. I really hope someone can help me access my account again ???

I have multiple outlook.com users on one computer, each has their own account and password. Up till now I have been able to set up access to each user by signing on into one of them and accessing the others via the drop down which is located under one of the names.
This has now been dropped by Microsoft (the excuse is security but really it is another useful service which has been dropped by Microsoft).
What happens how is that when I call up http://hotmail.co.uk it logs into the last Outlook.com account I was using and will not let me sign into any other of the family outlook.com accounts.
I am using Norton vault to control my various internet accounts. Until the change by Microsoft when I started to log into one of the accounts Norton provided a drop down menu which listed all of the account names and passwords. This is no longer showing up when I go to Hotmail.co.uk.
How can I sign into the correct account when I keep getting the same account each time?
I can't close my microsoft account. I receive the following message when I try: "You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account.". I have gone to the transactions and there are none, and I'm noting
that this problem has occurred before with others in this forum. I am constantly having my contacts accessed and I would like to shut the account down once and for all. You have permission to access and close my account. Thank you.
hello ms community, i recently bought the game Microsoft flight simulator X but when it asks if i want to activate my code now or later i click on now but when i type me code in it says : an error occurred while attempting to activate this product. the
problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application. re installing the application may solve the problem. otherwise, please contact product support for assistance.
now i re-installed the program 3 times and it still didn't work so i called Microsoft they said they didn't know anything about the game cause its older and i should post my questions here, so i did earlier and here they said i should call again so i did
and they said i should post it here again so for the final time im posting this, please dont answer that i need to call them cause that doesn't work please help me with this cause i really want to play the game.

I believe my account was hacked about a year ago. Now I've tried the standard methods of resetting my password and sending in the account recovery form.
One of the problems is that I no longer have access to the email which was used to create the account. I also have no idea what the answer to my security question is. I didn't write it down when I created it - - guess I should have.
However, I have been able to send in the account recovery forum successfully. It looks like Microsoft was able to validate that I am the owner of my account, but then only sent me a link to reset my password.
The email reads:
Thank you for your request. Your Microsoft account (*****@************.com) was created using an email address from a provider other than Microsoft. To reset your password for
this account, follow these steps:
- Click here for the Microsoft account password reset page.
- Select an option and click "Reset your password".
- Enter your Microsoft Account, then enter the security characters, lastly click "Next".
- On the following page, select "Email me a reset link" and then click "Next".
- A reset link is now sent to your email address.
It lets me send myself an email to reset my password, but as I stated earlier, I no longer have access to that email.
I need a way for the email address to be changed so that I can reset the password on my new email address. If possible, I would like to change it to the email address I'm using right now.
Please, I've been trying to get my account back for about a year now.
BTW, I got that email about an hour after I submitted the recovery form, so I was very pleased about that.

I have contacted Microsoft regarding resetting my Microsoft Account password. They send it to escalations who have me fill out a form, but I'm unable to complete it. The same problem occurs when I got to the link to reset password.
The error I get is "Your email address can contain only letters, numbers, periods (.), hyphens (-), and underscores (_). It can't contain special characters, accented letters, or letters outside the Latin alphabet."
Well my email address doesn't contain any of that as is was provided by the college I went to 5 years ago. The problem is that the account email address listed is invalid in sense that it dropped .edu at the end. I've called numerous times over the past 40 days and escalations always sends me to the same link that I can't complete.
I either need to have my password reset for me or I need to have my Xbox Live account linked to a different Microsoft Account.

I cannot close my Microsoft (Sympatico) account. No matter what I do, I get the following error messages:
- You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account.
- You need to deactivate your Hotmail account. Once you've done that, your Microsoft account will be closed automatically after a period of inactivity.
To my knowledge, I DON'T have any paid services or accounts associated with this email address, and I DON'T have a Hotmail account.
I've already posted on another thread and was told the following:
"I have checked the account that you have provided and you don't have any existing mobile subscription. I suggest that you submit another thread on this forum page for further assistance."
Start another thread? REALLY??!!
I've been left with no other option than to start again from scratch. PLEASE HELP. I want this account gone! I don't want my information out there unchecked!

Microsoft is refusing to accept the e-mail address I have been using for five years as it says it is incompatible with outlook. Whatever changes I need to make I cannot do if it won't let me sign in!
Outlook really needs to change this feature. Because I have had to change my password multiple times, and I can't use a previous password, I often type in the incorrect password. This causes Outlook to think that someone who is not me is trying to get
into my account, which forces me to change my password again. Apparently I don't have the best memory when it comes to passwords. I have a couple passwords that I use for everything else, why can't I use the password I want? I understand that Microsoft cares
about account safety, but it is MY account. I should be able to use whatever password I want, regardless of whether Microsoft considers it "safe" or if I've used it before. I have been using Hotmail since the 1990s. However, if this feature is not changed,
or if my previous passwords aren't reset so that I can use the password I want, I will be deleting my Outlook account and switching to another email service that actual cares about it's users.
