I am trying to access my email that i had since late 90"s and I am getting this error : The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again.
When I try to recover my password I get the same error.

I was referred here by a chat agent at gethelp.live.com.
I am trying to create a Microsoft Account using an existing e-mail address. However, when I try to create the account at account.live.com, I am being told the address I want to use isn't available.
Thinking that I had already created a Microsoft account using that e-mail and forgotten about it, I tried recovering the password to an account with my e-mail. However, when I enter provide that same e-mail, I get an error saying "The Microsoft Account is incorrect", which would seem to suggest no account exists using that e-mail.
So one one hand, I can't create a new account with the e-mail address, and on the other, there is no existing account for me to recover.
As you can imagine, I'm somewhat confused about this.
Can you assist me?

I am trying to login to a Microsoft account which have not used for over a year. This account appears to have been locked or closed as attempts to login return a message stating the account does not exist. Attempts to create a new account using the original
username fail as apparently that name (an email address belonging to me) is already in use. I need to reactivate this account as it is linked to an MSDN subscription which I need to access. Please help, thankyou.

Hello! In the year 2007, I signed up for a now-Microsoft Account using a @gmail.com address. I had set up notification for few birthdays (i.e. yearly recurring events) in the Calendar. I've closed this Microsoft Account sometime in 2010-2011, but I'm still
receiving calendar notification on that gmail address every year (which also means all my data is not deleted from the server...even after 2-3 years).
In order to try and stop these notifications, I signed up again using the same @gmail.com address, but when I open the calendar, it's completely empty...like it should be for a new account. The events I'm getting notifications of, aren't appearing in the
calendar. The links at the bottom of notification emails, "Send an email", "View contact profile", "Edit birthday", "Stop getting notifications", either lead me to my own profile or to the empty calendar. Hence, I've again closed this Microsoft Account.
I want to delete all my data regarding this @gmail.com account from the servers, and also want to stop these notification emails. What can I do about it?

I am unable to recover my Microsoft accounts, *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I am not able to use a reset code as both the accounts are mapped to each other for sending out reset codes. Since both the accounts are locked down, I am not able to see reset
mails. I had followed the questionnaire multiple times for each of these accounts and I keep getting the mail that the information provided is not sufficient. I can hardly remember the content and I really wish I can give something for those questions, but
in vain.
Please help reset either of these accounts as I am unable to get some data out of them. I also want to map one of these to my Win 8, now I am not able to download anything from the store as I do not have an Microsoft account.

Hi,
My team is responsible for rolling out a couple of hundred Windows Phone 8 to our user base and my team is registering the users' corporate email address as a Microsoft account.
Unfortunately we are getting "Sign-up error 450" "You've reached the daily limit for creawting Microsoft accounts. Please wait a day and try to sign up again or contact support for assistance.
I believe this restriction can be removed temporarily as what i've seen from the thread below:
Can we please get an exception as well so we can register all our users with a microsoft account?
