my cellphone keep receive the message about microsoft account security code and the code is the same which is not working.
When I try to change certain account settings on my outlook.com account, it requires a security code, but the e-mail containing that code arrives sometimes 30 minutes later (never immediately) - so when I use the code, it does not work (I guess it has
expired).
What can I do?
Any help greatly appreciated.
I was having problems accessing my ISP's email address so I am filtering/transferring all emails from them via Outlook to Outlook.com. The problem is that I have just received a message for an access number 'Microsoft account security code'. The trouble is, this email has been sent to the problem email address and then transferred to Outlook.com. How can I access Outlook.com to read this message as it is no longer in Outlook?
I have tried ctrl-shift-P for inPrivate Browsing but there is nothing on the page where I can sign in to Outlook.com.
"Where should we send code?" only gives the old email address, not the Outlook.com address I am using.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'm very suspicious of an alleged Microsoft email entitled 'Microsoft account security code'. Is this genuine?
Can Microsoft check what are the accounts that my mobile phone number has been assign for receive a security code? There are Microsoft account security code had been sent to me several time an hour ago which I had not requested for. This kind of situation
has happened once 2 - 3 weeks ago and didn't happen again until today. The account that I use now is my only one active account. I am really curious now, please tell me if there are others account that has been assign with my mobile phone number, that might
solve the problem.
yesterday i received an email from microsoft team sending me a security code i didn't request! today i received other two mails with different codes and another one with a phone number, telling me that this number was added to my security info.
email sender is microsoft team and next the address there is the green shield!
i changed my password twice but i still receive those emails!!
the account they asked me to confirm isn't the same i own... in fact my mail address is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but in those email there is written
xxxE_xx-@hotmail.it.

I am receiving repeated emails entitled "Microsoft account security code" to my hotmail account. The account address in the emails does not belong to me. I have received dozens of these messages now so I can only assume someone is repeatedly trying to
update their account and it is sending the security codes to the wrong email address. How do I correct this?
Yesterday , I opened my laptop and tried to logged in my Hotmail account which i have been using for years. FYI, this account is always logged in on my HTC. After entering my user name & password I was taken to another page and asked to enter my password again. Then it showed me that my security code will be sent to my alternate email address which I did receive in no time and using that code was able to log into my primary account. I received following email from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***:

Please let me know if it was a spam and account is compromised though I have not noticed any abnormal activity since then.
