my cellphone keep receive the message about microsoft account security code and the code is the same which is not working.
I have recently been getting Microsoft account security codes sent to my email address that pertain to verifying email accounts I do not own nor have I ever owned. Today I received three emails in regards to the verifying of an email I have never heard
of and last week I received Microsoft account security codes regarding the verification of another email I have never heard of. Like I said these two emails do not belong to me nor have they ever. How can I stop receiving these emails and should I be concerned
that someone is trying to hack my email address. What can I do to better protect myself.

I was having problems accessing my ISP's email address so I am filtering/transferring all emails from them via Outlook to Outlook.com. The problem is that I have just received a message for an access number 'Microsoft account security code'. The trouble is, this email has been sent to the problem email address and then transferred to Outlook.com. How can I access Outlook.com to read this message as it is no longer in Outlook?
I have tried ctrl-shift-P for inPrivate Browsing but there is nothing on the page where I can sign in to Outlook.com.
"Where should we send code?" only gives the old email address, not the Outlook.com address I am using.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have received multiple texts with "Microsoft account security code: xxxxxxx and one with Microsoft account password reset code: xxxxxxx
They had all seven characters as an input.
I am using microsoft hotmail or outlook and MSN. I also have a MCP account as I hold some certifications from Microsoft.
However the number that these texts were received from has NEVER been associated with any microsoft product. I have this number for several months now. I do have associated this number with gmail though don't know if that has any bearing on this subject.
Could someone tell me what this is about??
I did a test and switched the phone number i had associated with my hotmail account with the one i have now (the one i receive the texts) and the security code is 4 characters long not seven.
Is Microsoft using the same SMSC with google?

Microsoft account security keep send message to mobile phone nonstop...even logged in ...it still keep sending the same verify code to mobile phone every 2 hour . I had delete the phone number in security info...but there write the number will be delete
on 24/09/2013.

The microsoft account security code that I received by text does not work, I try it each morning I log onto my hotmail, it says I have 5 days to submit account number, I have 2 days left. Please help.
I've received Microsoft account security code via SMS from number +447781470659, but I did not do anything with my account at that time. I am very curious now why I received the code. Please tell me all of the situations that the security code will be

I had initially not noticed the discrepancy in the address and followed the links to cancel and change my password as I thought my account had been hacked.
I was unsure if this was a Microsoft error or if the other user had entered an incorrect address to receive security info. I am also unsure if by cancelling these actions I have affected the other account . Should I take any further action or is this likely a one off?

But it is not for my email address. My email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I received it 5 times today. I'd ask what is happened? And How can I do? Ignor it?
