Hello!

Bought a Surface Pro the other day, Action Center notifies the need to "Trust this PC", when clicked the account information is incorrect, I select alternate email option, receive the email and code, enter the code, now only receive a message stating incorrect info will be removed within a month, while the Surface is still not trusted.  I now cannot access any security aspect of my account, nor can I "Trust this PC", which is making important aspects of this pricey purchase useless.

 

In researching this issue, I come across this rather disturbingly ended forum post and am concerned with this entire process, the continued use of Hotmail (Outlook) and Microsoft's customer service, let alone support.

 

Any resolution information would be greatly appreciated.
