i have had my hotmail account for 15 years and it has always been set on exclusive.

in the last 12 hours, i have received over 10 junk emails directly to my inbox.

why is the filter no longer working?

if this function on outlook is no longer working, i will close this account and open a new one on gmail.
I have a hotmail account for several years, up until yesterday the junk email always would be in the junk folder, now it is coming into my inbox. I have even deleted my whole safe sender list and I still received a junk email into my inbox. What is going on?
Within outlook itself it says it is disconnected from the server, when I try and access outlook through chrome and IE I can sign in but I cannot access emails at all, the page I go to says please wait while we update your inbox and despite trying to find a way to fix this issue for about 5 hours I still cannot access my inbox.  This is specific to my existing account, I have tried to create other outlook accounts as well as have support remote access my computer, each attempt has been able to access the corrisponding account and get to the inbox.  I was advised to change accounts but I specifically wanted to use outlook as part of a unified system using my windows live ID there is no support for changing everything to a new account and I especially don't want to lose my xbox account either.  Is there a way that this issue can be resolved without having to use a different account?
My colleague has Outlook on her computer and has since given me permission (editor permissions) to her inbox and one of her folders within her inbox. I am able to see her inbox in my Outlook web app but I can't see the folder she also gave me access and delegate access to. Please help me resolve this so that I can view and edit emails in this folder. Thanks.

This morning I was accessing my outlook.com com inbox from my IE browser with no issues.

This afternoon I noticed that my newest email in my inbox was from 2009. I checked my deleted folder and it still has emails I deleted this morning in it dating today.

How can I get my missing emails back?

Please note before continuing.  I am not talking about another POP3 (gmail) account populating my outlook.com inbox.

I am talking about my straight outlook.com email.  Email is not entering my inbox until I hit the refresh arrow inside of my inbox.  I just hit refresh on my inbox at 10:39am and in popped an email that has a time stamp of 10:01am this morning.  This continues to happen and has been like this for too long now.

I cannot find any settings that grabs my mail more frequently.  I need my email to push through the moment I get it and please tell me where the setting is that I am missing.
Everything older than 6 days are suddenly missing from my inbox, I was online until about 4am and all mail was still there, woke up about 8am and my iPad was showing all my already read emails now showing as unread emails, I thought that was very strange, but when I checked outlook.com I noticed I was missing years of emails, specifically all emails older than 6 days from my inbox.  Subfolders seem to be okay.  

How do I get inbox emails restored?
I've worked with online chat in the area.  They "took over" my computer and tried to look over this problem.  My inbox says that I have emails.  I can see some of them in the list.  When I've read all in the list, the Inbox still says there are 44 or 38 or however many emails to read, but I am unable to see them.  This has been going on for several months.  I am missing important emails that I need to be able to access.  Thank you
I keep getting the error message about the outlook having issues with syncing to a mobile divice. I am trying to get into my inbox on computer. I have more than one email. One of them I can acces and get into my inbox completly fine. But my private/family email I can not. I can sign in just fine but when I try to go to my inbox to check my email (It is important that I check it as I am waiting for replies from people) I get the error message. I don't even have the option to go to my inbox. HELP?

I am trying to send an email to someone and it keeps coming to my inbox that i have just sent it from. I cannot understand why this is happening. It isnot addressed to me but from me addressed to someone else but that does not stop it coming straight back to my inbox. At first I really wondered if I had sent it to myself but definitely did not. I would be rtateful fir any advice. It is an old hotmail address that has changed to the outlook umbrella [ and an inconvenient umbrella that has constantly been]. regaards, Sheraya.
