can’t access hotmail account on ipad

my wife is having issues connecting her ipad to hotmail through the mail icon (she is not going to hotmail through safari). It started after she opened a particular email. Since then I reset her iPad to factory default, I can connect to gmail and exchange but no hotmail accounts. Can you please help?! I can give you the address she uses either through here or an email just let me know. Thanks..

I cannot access my hotmail and live accounts. Why? It keeps saying there's an error. And I keep sending reports and nothing is getting fixed. Sometimes my email will work and I can access it. But other times, it says that there's an issue and just to report your problem to Microsoft. I have and it's still acting wonky.

8/14/2013 Hotmail is 100% down and doesn’t even have the courtesy to tell us what’s going on!!! No wonder all my friends use Gmail!!

Message I'm getting says everything's been restored but NOTHING works! What a joke!

Don't they realize that people depend on their service? Microsoft really blew it this time.

And the sad thing is you can't even call anyone. My sympathies to all of us hotmailers

who've been left high and dry!!

I am also unable to access my Hotmail ("There's a problem with Outlook right now") - can't access from my laptop or mobile phone, can't access another family member's account either. Started in the afternoon with problem sending an important message for work (had to delete message from "Drafts" folder, couldn't open attachment (was on mobile phone), lost attachment, unable to send or even print out so I could use it later). Message when logging into Outlook refers to a problem syncing with my mobile account. Why would this prevent me from reading email on my laptop...?

Microsoft Active Account won’t sync with my Galaxy S4

My Samsung Galaxy S4 has been flawless... all my contacts are saved to my Microsoft Exchange Active Sync account - the white empty square - (Hotmail) as this (is supposed to) be a failsafe for me in case my phone is lost AND I can share contacts between devices....

Today, for no apparent reason all my MEAS contacts dropped out of my phone. They still exist on my Hotmail account but the phone isn't picking them up...

1. Why did this happen? (can I prevent it in future?)

2. What can I do to bring them back to my phone?

All my emails are still sync'd.. everything else works fine... I've done a restart and switch on/off etc. Just stopped being able to access them!

Just checked my Galaxy Tab 2 and it has some of the MEAS contacts but not all.... is this a Samsung issue?

Cannot get mail. The connection to the server failed.

When clicking on the "hotmail" account which is linked up on my iphone4, it pops up the following message:

"Cannot Get Mail- The connection to the server failed"

I can access my gmail and icloud email accounts but when I try to access my hotmail account it get this error message.

I have tried:

- Rebooting the phone

- Deleting and then linking up the hotmail account again

But the problem is still here. What is going on??? I need this sorted ASAP!!!!!

Hotmail email lost when it was converted over to Outlook.

Last night when I tried to log in to my Hotmail it wouldn't work. So I made a new outlook email

How do I link my outlook email to my old Hotmail account and get back the emails that I have stored in my old Hotmail account.

And yes I have read all the stuff about inactive accounts and stuff that is not the case here. It was working fine one day then the next after the change it wasn't.

There was a problem with Hotmail on my Laptop where i didn't log out and then the system autmatically logged me off and then couldn't connect again. It seems to have resolved itself overnight on my laptop, but can't sync on my Ipad still. Have tried deleting the account and re-installing.

My mum has been using a hotmail.com email for a couple of years, she doesn't overly use it but recited some needed and a lot of junk mail to it. In the last week she had been trying to access it and it won't let her saying that someone else might be trying to use her account. She has tried filling in the form several times but doesn't have enough info. She even got it to ring her home withan access code and out still displayed same message. She needs to access the account as she had been receiving emails from her lawyer to this account and on a more personal level there are emails from her brother a couple of years ago about their mothers funeral including the proofs for design of sheets. Please help she is devastated at the possibility of losing this. Her email that she can't access is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
