However, I CAN still read all my Hotmail emails in Safari, FireFox and Google Chrome, but I shouldn't have to - especially since I'm not good at remembering passwords and I have to sign in again. I want to get them back again in Internet Explorer!
I don't have an internet enabled mobile phone so I use my Windows 7 laptop and my Windows 8 PC. I have Hotmail set as my home page in Internet Explorer and in there all I get are the default folders and one email saying "Outlook Team. Welcome to Outlook".
NOTHING else!
(1 ) I am trying to get into my Hotmail account. The screen is telling me my PASSWORD is wrong. I do not think it is wrong - but the screen says it is sending a verification code to my Hotmail address.. How can I get to the verification code ? when I cannot
get into my account?

I decided to try to switch to Gmail and transfer my Hotmail email account to my new Gmail account so I can still have Hotmail access on my phone, but when my new Gmail account asks me for the pop server and port, I keep getting an error
and directions to contact you.

noticed this morning I couldn't check email on phone, said "cannot get mail, the username or password for "Hotmail" is incorrect"
when I went into settings in my iphone and made sure it was correct it didn't help
so I went to try to do the same thing on my pc and no joy, ive tried going to view it on a web page via outlook but it says theres a problem with outlook at the moment
