Hotmail Account Hacked

14. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: Hotmail Account, recovery attempts, recovery link
Dear MS-

My long-time HotMail account was hacked; automated recovery attempts have failed (first one worked, but the provided recovery link timed out, and could not be used, again).

I have created a new HotMail account (from which I'm sending this message in order to post).

I have gotten a 'final' (e.g. do not try again) response to my recovery requests, and really need access to my long-time HotMail account - I regularly get e-mails from many folks.

What can I do?  Please help!

Thank you!

How can I recover my hotmail account?

I have tried to access my hotmail account but this error message appears
"That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account."
I think it was deleted because I haven't used it for a year but I really need to recover it as it has important emails and accounts in it.

IP access query

I requested some IP logs for my hotmail account and was given them by yourselves (thank you).  What I wanted to know is are these ip logs a record of only successful attempts to access my account, or are they a record of successful and unsuccessful access attempts?

It's just I have a suspicious IP address that has accessed my account, and was wondering if you could provide any more info about this access request?  I can post this IP address as a private message if needed.  I think I have been hacked so I have been trying to work out what account activity took place.

Also when you send the ip requests, they have a time listed next to them.  Can you tell me what time zone this is from?  Just I am trying to work out things.

Many thanks

Accessing a deleted hotmail account?

I think my hotmail account was deleted when I removed it from a windows 8 laptop. Is there a way to get my email account back? There are a lot of emails on there that I need to access! If not then is there a way I can create a new account using THE SAME email address?

Unable to access my hotmail messages on my Nokia 808. However my Nokia 808 is able to access my husbands hotmail messages?

All of a sudden my Nokia 808 will not download or access my hotmail messages.  I tried deleting the account from my phone and using nokia's wizard to add in the account in again but no luck.  What's interesting is when I try adding in my husband's hotmail account or my brother's hotmail account with the same wizard in my Nokia Phone, it works and my phone has no problems downloading their messages.  So I tried repeating it with my account again... and strangely no luck again.  Is there some sort of setting in my actual hotmail account I need on or off I am not aware of?  Thanks in advance.

Is Hotmail blocking emails from my customers that are sent through my website and routed to my Hotmail account?

11. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: hotmail, Hotmail Account
I contacted the IS department that supports my website, and they did several tests of the email for my 'contact us' page, including changing the email address to a couple of their own there in the office, and sending a test message.  In each case, the messages arrived without issue. This means that their system is working the way it should, so there is most likely an issue with Hotmail blocking the messages in some way.  I checked to see if the messages I sent from two different devices using the 'contact us' page on my website are ending up in my Spam or Junk folder, but they were not. Internet connectivity has not been an issue.  I was told to contact Hotmail's customer support to find out if/why Hotmail is blocking the messages.  I was provided the email address the messages from my website come from which may help Hotmail isolate the issue.   How can I contact someone on the Hotmail side to trouble shoot this?  Hotmail was recently converted to Outlook, could that be part of the problem?  For 2 years I had no problem receiving emails that came from my website to my Hotmail account directly.  Please help resolve this problem.  Microsoft Support sent me here.

My hotmail account has been hacked

Hi,
My hotmail account was hacked on 1st Sept 13 and the hacker has changed the alternate email and phone on the account. I have got the account blocked by writing to local police. But my attempts to reset password did not yield any result. It simply said that the info provided was not enough. Unfortunately, I don't seem to remember exact answers to some of the questions since this was an old account created some 15 years ago. The account is important to me since it has many important mails and the address has been circulated widely for various purposes.
Kindly HELP!

Hotmail Account Blocked

10. September 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account details, account recovery, Hotmail Account, Xbox achievements
I recently was asked to verify my account details when i switched on my Xbox. The Hotmail account that i had it set up with is an account i have had for 5+ years and that i only now use for Xbox. I have not used it for sending or receiving emails in a couple of years so have completely forgotten the majority of the log in information. (I should have switched my Xbox to a current account....Stupid i know)

I submitted an account recovery request form to try and prove who i was but it was rejected on a number of occasions and as a result my hotmail account has been blocked.

I am keen to get access back to this account and switch it to my currently used Microsoft account as I have nearly 3 years of Xbox achievements etc that i would be devastated to lose.

My hotmail account was blocked because there might be someone else using it. Unfortuntely my Alternative email is no longer valid because long time ago I deactivate it and besides I also forgot the email itself. I also tried the validation form but an email was received that the information that I provided was not sufficient to validate my account.
