Email from hotmail team

I rec'd an email from Hotmail Team requesting I update my email to prevent interruption or my acct will be suspended. Is this a valid email?

Here's the email:

Dear Valued Customer,

As part of our security measures, we would like you to update your email to prevent an interruption with your account.

NOTE THAT FAILURE TO VERIFY YOUR RECORDS WILL RESULT IN ACCOUNT SUSPENSION.

Also last week I rec'd an email titled

Rede de Atendimento Banco Bradesco S.A.

The email looked like it I sent it to myself. The from address is my email.
