randall, I received an email stating that it was from outlook support and that I had requested my email account be deactivated and that it came from i.p. addressxxx,x,xxxx. it went on to say ... "click on secure youremail accountverify to cancel this request; else youe email account will be deactivated and deleted within 24 hours". ( it was written exactly like that with the words run together) is this a valid email? it says its from the outlook team ( *** Email address is removed for privacy ***) thanks

Has anyone else received an email saying “You requested your Email Account to be deactivated and deleted from a location with this IP number; 201.”130.47.33.” I think this is a scam.

This is the whole email, source address given is z dot jakovljevic at gmx dot de I requested no such thing. When hovering, the links appear to go "real" Microsoft sites. What's going on here?

1. You requested your Email Account to be deactivated and deleted from a location with this IP number; 201.130.47.33.

3. Do not share your password with anyone for your security purpose.

Family Setting in Outlook is not working

My child tries to access his email account and gets this message: Your account is not ready It looks like your parent hasn't finished setting up the Family Safety settings for your account. Click "Go to Family Safety settings" to finish the process and get into your account.

We go to Family Settings as indicated and this is the Error message:

The page you have requested does not exist, has moved, or is temporarily down.

Hotmail account does not exist – PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

A friend of mine had a HOTMAIL Account and last August 17 she tried to log in and Hotmail said, "Email account does not exist", we tried several things such as, click on "Can't access your account?" form but when typing the account, it says, account does not exist, so we could not go further.

The email account was used every day, because she uses it for work, so there is no way it could have been closed due to inactivity.

The only way it could have happened is that someone hacked her account and closed it on purpose, if so, is there any way she can recovers her account?

I think my hotmail account was deleted when I removed it from a windows 8 laptop. Is there a way to get my email account back? There are a lot of emails on there that I need to access! If not then is there a way I can create a new account using THE SAME email address?

Can’t get past security request

I signed into my email account and got a message saying I needed to input a security code. I did not know the code so asked for one to be sent to me. I then input the code as instructed and was told it did not work. This happened with codes sent to another email address and sent by phone. I cannot get past this security request so I am now unable to get into my primary email account. Help!!

When trying to access my Outlook.com Email Account in MSN.com, the Bing Search Site (http://www.bing.com/search) comes up with "bl178w.blu178.mail.live.com/default.com in the Bing Search Window. This happens no matter how I try to access tyhe account. My Wife and I have accounts on the same computer and she does not have the issue and has access to her Outlook.com Email Site.

Any thoughts???

I can’t get into my email account

Hi,

I've been trying to get into my hotmail account for the last two weeks and I gave them all of the right information to prove that it is my account and I still can't get in. I've tried filling out the forms the best I can and have submitted them over and over again and I just get an email back saying " Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership. " and it tells me to submit a new form. I've done that, I've tried resetting my password, I've tried the security questions and answered them correctly and it said it was incorrect. Why is it not working? I've had this account since 2001, what's going on?
