I tried to close my account yesterday and got some error about there was a problem with the server. Today, when I try to close my account, it tells me that I need to deactivate my account. When I try to deactivate my account it keeps saying go to https://billing.microsoft.com.
This URL goes back to Microsoft Account - Recent Transactions. All subscriptions are cancelled. It won't let me Remove Payment Option (Discover Card). So there is no way to get the card removed to / or Close the account...; THIS ACCOUNT HAS APPARENTLY

However there are no billing outstanding subscriptions or services associated with this account and I CANNOT delete/close/deactivate and I haven't used this account in at least 6 years and it was just recently HACKED. I deleted all the folders and emails I just want the account closed and every link I click on takes me to something that is not USEFUL! I think it's easier to cancel my bank account vs an email account!
What can I do to get this email account cancelled and gone forever?!?!
