I'm trying to cancel/close one of my hotmail accounts but when I click on Close Account it asks me to click on something else and that asks me to click on something else and then something about billing (which I don't have a billing account for ANYTHING)!!
This is frustrating! It NEVER used to be this difficult to close a hotmail email account! Even the subjects to post this thread doesn't even have Cancel Account as an option! Ugh!!
I want to close my microsoft account and my former hotmail email address. Everytime I click on cancel account in my settings and type in my password it comes up with 'server is down' please please please I want to close my account ASAP as I got hacked
a year ago and I did close my account then but its still open and still receiving emails and I am not happy with how I have no privacy or security with hotmail/outlook. I should have a right to close my account for good and not have to worry about this however,
its appalling how I have no control over this and anyone can hack into my own account. I want my account closed that it all. Please assist me.

a message that I must "cancel paid accounts." I have ensured that all paid accounts are closed and still cannot get my hotmail account to close. This is in reference to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Please assist me.
