Using the most recent Blackberry Desktop Manager for my device, I have been trying to copy the contact list FROM my Blackberry Bold 9700 to the contact list in my Windows 7 Live mail program. Desktop Manager offers two formatting options to export files
from the Blackberry, Windows Outlook or Windows Contacts. Neither successfully transfers the contacts to Windows 7 Live Mail. Apparently the Blackberry contacts are neither .csv files or .vcf files. Blackberry personnel have suggested I talk to Windows technical
people to learn "how to configure Wndows Live Mail for PST" (whatever that means). Windows personnel have told me that since Windows Live Mail is freeware, neither Microsoft or Windows offers telephone support. At the moment I'm stuck, unable to transfer
(copy or over-write) the contacts from the device to Windows Live Mail and would appreciated any suggestions from anyone who has done what appears to be and should be a simple task.
