Account Picture Removal

Hi, I'm running Windows 8 on a Samsung laptop.
I'm having issues removing my account picture. I've tried multiple times to remove it via the Microsoft website, and also through the People app on Windows 8. However, after a few days, the account picture somehow magically reappears, as if I never deleted it. I've tried removing the picture using both methods at least 10 times, and every time, the picture reappears. Is this a bug, or is there a solution available? Thank you.
