Hi,
I am trying, as many others, to add an email account to my custom domain, but I all I get is an error.

Account Name: adrianna.zielonka
Error - That account name is not allowed for use with this service.

Please resolve it as soon as possible, it's extremely annoying.

Can’t add account for domain email

Hi,

I have successfully added my domain in domain live.com. I'm managed to create 2 emails under my domain name. However, when I try to create 1 of the email accounts with the name of yyy@ ..... I get this error message:

A Microsoft account already exists with this account name. This was likely an account that was used before the domain was using this service.

You may import the account or you may evict this account and create a new account with this name. If you evict the account, the name may not be available for reuse for up to 60 days to protect the previous member's privacy.

May I know how to solve this problem?

When the switch took place, I was using my account. Now I log in with outlook, but cannot see me emails that were suppose to switch over as well. I can see my Account name but that it. How do I get to my 15 yr data email, contacts and files that were under the old hotmail account????

Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me out. I am trying to migrate myself and my wife over from google docs to domains.live.com and I am getting the following error when I try to add her account name to her domain.

The requested account name is already in use or was used in the past and has not been through the required waiting period to re-use.

I am certain she doesn't have an active account with that *** Email address is removed for privacy *** combo, any help on this would be appreciated.

Reactivate Deleted Acoount

This ID "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" was deleted by accident (actually a Tech support guy named Saranish at *** Email address is removed for privacy *** told me to do it). He assumed that I could change my "Primary Alias" in a "live" account that I don't use into the correct name (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). Every time I did this The message that appeared was that then account name "was not available". This occurred even after another Tech support guy told me to wait 30 days before attempting to reactivate my correct account name. I am still unsuccessful doing this and it is imperative for business purposes that the correct account name is reactivated. I need help reactivating the correct account name "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***".

My microsoft account shows my account name as the same old hotmail address with the notation "send and receive"".I changed the password .

I cant do either.

I've followed the suggestions I can find in the forum but no good.

Pls. help as I urgently need to send and receive from an elderly frail Mother.

I went to sign into my account, and it told me my account doesn't exist (I created it in mid-2011, and probably haven't signed in since then). So I went to re-create it, and it told me that the account name wasn't available. I'd like to be able to access it again, it is the email I set for password retrieval on some sites. If someone could PM me with info, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have a number of email accounts in Outlook. When I reply to an email the original email attribution has started to appear with the wrong name from one of my other accounts against it. All my addresses now have the attribution from this email account that I hardly ever use. I have tried deleting the account but it is still happening. For example, when I reply to "john smith" the attribution for the original email in the reply comes up in the format:

From: John Smith <j*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

Date: Sunday, 17 February 2013 21:27

To: Other Account <j*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

Subject: RE: Invitation

I am getting the "other account" name in all my emails, including my work email, which is embarrassing, and I am being forced to change it in every reply! Help!

HELP!!

Hotmail is no longer working on my iPhone 4. It started a few days ago. I kept getting the message that my account name or password were incorrect. I tried several times to access it by changing my password and then it locked me out. I had to change it online to get access again.

I tried rebooting my phone..that didnt work. I finally deleted the account from my phone and added it back but now it doesnt receive any emails and the sent, deleted boxes are gone and its not showing the history in my account.

What's going on?
