A memo on my screen to upgrade from my Win 10 to the latest 1709 version. I am using a hp Notebook with 28GB Memory. Windows advise memory not enough. So I use an external hard drive.

Half way through the operation-Error on screen -to connect the hard drive properly. Then "Retry". I did. Screen then went blank-I was told the PC will reset many times during the upgrade. Then a memo came up- Running recovery Programme with advice- Do not switch off PC.

Screen went blank again. Nothing happen over an hour. Then I depress On-Of main switch. No response. Then a Blue Screen Appears-

"Recovery-Your device needs repair. A required device not connected or cant be assessed. You will need recovery tools-needs installation media.

Press Enter-try again.

Press F8-to start settings

Press Esc for UEFI Firmware setting.

After press Esc-then Press F11-to perform a push button reset through Win Recovery Environment- no response. PC Return Back to the blue screen with the above instructions.

I cannot log into my Windows. Seems no response. I do Not have a Recovery Tool nor Installation Media. What is my Next Move?

regards,

RH
