Hello,

I have been getting the following error message when I send/receive messages in Windows Live Mail for some time:

There was an unexpected error and Windows Live Mail can't sync the messages in your Hotmail account. To sync your messages, in Windows Live Mail, remove your Hotmail account and then add it again. To view messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the web.

Subject 'Transgender'
Server Error: 4102
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

Is there a simple way of solving this? I did try removing the Hotmail account but for that there is a procedure whereby the account is not removed until the following day leaving me without mail for a period while wondering if it will work. Is there an alternative? My Windows Live Mail outbox does not contain this rogue mail and my Windows firewall is turned off. How about deleting the Outbox?

Would appreciate your wise input on this. Thank you.
