After working fine for years, I suddenly can only receive emails sporadically (once a week or so) using Windows Live Mail for my bellsouth mail account.  I get the following message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Bellsouth account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

I have checked my email settings and they are all correct.  I have contacted bellsouth and they said everything is working fine on their end.  I have run the repair function Windows Live Essentials and it is still not working.  Help!!
